One of the most exciting video /alarm solutions available today is VIDEOFIED.  This monitoring platform utilizes totally wireless equipment (including power), cellular for communication, even key fobs for remote arm/disarm functions.  When armed if there is unauthorized entry via a door an alarm is sent to the central station, if there is movement in view of the motion it will be captured on a 10 second video clip and sent for verification by the operator.  This clip can be automatically forwarded to an email for owner verification before dispatch.  This is usually a silent alarm and needless to say apprehensions have risen dramatically when deployed in new construction, storage yards, sub stations, etc…  To check out some actual alarms click here.
